The handsome chap has really inspired me. Lockdown can rather sap creativity, but this amazing bull speaks to me and I hope that you can share that too.
Daler Rowney Cryla acrylic paint on 12 x 12 inch linen block canvas. Black is such an interesting colour as it is made up of so many others. A brown underpainting is needed to add warmth to the cooler darker colours to be added on top.
He is very nearly finished just a few tweakings to add more depth and to soften the highlights, then although I shall be sorry to part with him he will be ready for pastures new. Please contact me if you are interested. He does have such life and character - I do like to paint the persona within.
