Sanderlings are such busy little wading birds, always dashing about, on their brief visit to this country during the Winter and Spring. This Sanderling was on Hunstanton Beach on the North Norfolk coast with its typical red carstone and white chalk pebbles. You can also see broken mussel shells left behind by Oystercatchers.
This is a little gem of a painting, it doesn't take up much room - great for all bird enthusiasts.
