The beautiful lighting really makes this robin special.  Perched in an Alder tree these friendly birds may be found out in the countryside as well as in our towns.
 
From my original pastel which is great for lighting effects.  Additional drama is created through light/dark and red/green contrasts as well as settin the bird slightly off to one side.
