A small delicate Whitethroat is perched amongst the colourful Alexanders flowers. Alexanders is an invasive species spreading in large waves of yellow along the Norfolk coast.
From my orginal in acrylic, the yellow flowers differ in shade from front to back to give depth to the painting.
An unusual bird to see: appreciated by birdwatchers.
