Oystercatchers are very distinctive wading birds with their black and white plumage and orange bill and legs. I spotted this one in a small group on Hunstanton Beach in Wintertime where they were seeking out mussels amongst the rocks.
I created this very balanced design in pastel on pastelmat paper, where tackling the small waves and foam was quite a challenge.
Could suit a variety of frames. I have shown some as suggestions, which do you prefer?
